Once again in the quarterfinals Minas Tenis, of our players Destinee Hooker and Karine Guerra, defeated Fluminense, and with two victories secured their position in semifinals of Brazilian Superleague.
In front of 2,500 spectators Minas celebrated in four sets ( 25:22, 23:25, 25:15, 25:23). Our players were great on the court, and Destinee Hooker was the best scorer of the game. The match was really emotional for almost seven months pregnant setter Karine Guerra of the blocks, which decided to retire at the age of 39.
