Great Mihajlovic helped Serbia to defeat USA in five sets

Member of SB Community team Brankica Mihajlovic tallied 25 points to lead the Serbian 3:2 (25:22, 25:17, 23:25, 18:25, 15:11) comeback win over USA in opening match of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix Group 1 Finals at Nanjing.

Serbia, of our players Brankica Mihajlovic, Bojana Zivkovic, Tijana Malesevic, Ana Bjelica and Ana Antonijevic, coached by Zoran Terzic, repeated their Rio 2016 Olympic Games 3:2 win against the United States at the semifinal – their last major competition encounter. Mihajlovic continues to be the scoring leader of Serbia after finishing with 153 points in the preliminary round. The European team will play Italy next on Friday, while USA will be up against the Italians in the first match of the day tomorrow.
