Serbia win again and it's one step closer to the quarterfinals

Serbia, of our players Bojana Zivkovic, Brankica Mihajlovic, Tijana Malesevic and Ana Bjelica, coached by Zoran Terzic, recorded another three-set victory. In their second match on Euro Volley 2017 Serbia defeated Netherlands 3:0 (29:27, 25:17, 25:23).

It was a great voleyball game and Serbia took the lead 29:27. In another two sets, the girls from the Netherlands gave some resistance but not enough to extend, or maybe win the game.

Brankica Mihajlovic, Serbian outside hitter: "I am very happy and proud of the team. We had some problems in the first set but we found a way to come back. I think the first set decided in one way or another the next two sets. We played against a very good team. Two years ago they played the final of the European Championship and for us this is an important victory. I just hope we can continue in this way."
Coach of Serbia, Zoran Terzic: "Of course we are very happy and satisfied as we won against a very strong team. Practically in the last few months it was the first game that we played really good with a lot of motivation and energy. Especially because of this I am really very happy. And of course because of the tactics as we delivered a really good performance and I hope we keep this until the end of this competition."
